Overview

The "Home PC WOL" Alexa Smart Home Skill ("Skill") enables you to wake computers on your local network using Amazon Echo devices. The Skill uses AWS Lambda to send Wake-on-LAN (WoL) Magic Packets to MAC addresses you configure.

What Data We Collect

The Skill collects and processes the following data when you link your account:

• Amazon Account Email — Used to identify your account during the Login with Amazon (LWA) OAuth flow.
• MAC Address — The hardware MAC address of the computer you wish to wake. This is stored as an environment variable in AWS Lambda.

How Data Is Used

• Your email is used solely for OAuth authentication via Login with Amazon.
• The MAC address is used to construct and send a WoL Magic Packet over your local network.
• No data is stored, logged, or shared with third parties beyond what is required for the Skill to function.

Data Storage

The MAC address is stored as an environment variable in the AWS Lambda function configuration. No persistent database is used. No audio, voice recordings, or conversation transcripts are stored.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. AWS (Amazon Web Services) processes the Lambda function and may log technical errors as part of their standard infrastructure logging.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by revoking account linking in the Alexa app or contacting us at admin@sk-ft.de.

Children's Privacy

This Skill is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
